About EMRA 2017

The event

Following successful events hosted by CNR (Rome 2014), IST (Lisbon 2015) and Newcastle University's School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Newcastle, UK 2016), this 2017, the University of Girona will host the next workshop on marine robotics and applications on 15th and 16th May 2017. Organised under EU projects EXCELLABUST and STRONGMAR, this will bring together a diverse range of speakers, from ongoing FP7/H2020 projects, industry, end users and stakeholders. The interdisciplinary event will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and cross-fertilisation of ideas in marine robotics, enabling technologies and applications.

Format

In a single track conference programme over two days there will be 20-25 speakers with time for discussions and networking. Presentations from ongoing EU funded research projects will be mixed with presentations from industry and end users. Breakout space will also be available for exhibits and demonstrations.

ORGANIZED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF:

Funded by the European Commission under the H2020 EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (H2020-TWINN-2015 691980) and (H2020-TWINN-2015 692427)
